Collecting my contents published somewhere on the web
The biggest reason that I chose to develop my own website was the ownership of my contents. In many times people's preference over internet community services change. In Korea, perhaps the most popular services were: Chollian and Nownuri (1990s), Freechal (late 1990 and early 2000), Cyworld (around 2002-), Naver (around 2005-). As far as I remember, Cyworld was developed before Myspace or Facebook came out. Anyway, Koreans are trying to use Facebook and Twitter nowadays. I was not really sure whether I will use one of existing services more than 10-20 years.
I chose Drupal, an open source content management system, becuase I was pretty much sure that it will exist.
The club website at Cyworld that I am moving is called "Career Planning through Self-exploration," which I developed July 29, 2003. The number of members is 29 (very small), but they are mostly my friends.
Before close the club, I would like to record the site menu structure here:
------------------------------------------------------
(Intro & Small Talk)
(Anything by anyone)
------------------------------------------------------
(Journey to seek myself)
(Enneagram)
(Career Anchors)
(Other tools)
------------------------------------------------------
(As we live, love, and realize)
(Stories wish to be heard)
------------------------------------------------------
(Future me that will become a reality)
-----------------------------------------------------
(Album: Life as if it were a journey)
- Feel이 오는 사진 (Sensing photos)
(Gestalt)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I plan to move necessary contents to this site.
